Happy Birthday to Peter Michael Leithauser! and Happy Birthday to Michael Watson Stoner. No foolin- tomorrow- April 1st is Peter and Pap's birthday! An appropriate celebration occurred at 1142 tonight as it is Opening Day of Baseball and Peter was born on opening day- the day the Reds play.
Tonight we celebrated the Leithauser way with peanuts and hot dogs while watching baseball- then Peter went to baseball practise. When he got home we sang and he blew out the candles on his black raspberry chip Oreo ice cream cake made by his mama. 12 years ago, the day after Easter was a special day indeed and we love to celebrate and serenade our birthday boy with his lull bye- "take me out to the ballpark". Life is good on Newark-Granville Road.
