Farmers Market Update....

The Farmer's Market didn't disappoint.....we made a record 10 minute run in and:
-were greeted by the most amazing scent- basil and ?? the rain was light- it may have enhance the aroma somehow....
-saw dear vendor friend Sue, from Sue's Kitchen of Pataskala.  Clare befriended her years ago as she fell in love with her chocolate chip cookies.  Sue was back and happy to see us.  We snapped a quick photo and continued on....
-Green drinks were there but we didn't have time...
-Go Cat Bakery....bought the garlic chocolate chip cookies- tired them last night- they are good- intriguing exactly what you'd think they would be...but the find was their Lavender Truffle Fudge- melts in your mouth and is divine- simple and rich...I love lavender baked into things- two years ago there were lavender scones that melted in your mouth...the fudge is another delightful soothing flavor for the taste buds.
-Sunbeam Farms- KALE, Chard, Arugula....are awaiting dinner prep tomorrow- woo hoo! The whole booth was beautiful- the colors and rich abundance of yumminess.  I love the recipes that are there to coach and assist!  Thank you Mrs. Dilbone!

We departed in time to get to the next to-do. I look forward to returning next weekend to savor and engage with additional vendors...and am excited for what the summer brings.....Farmer Market inspired meals!!
