isn't always fair but we can strive....

Supreme Court Justice Sharon Kennedy was the speaker at Rotary today. And once again I was reminded of why I benefit from being a Rotarian.  Joe went with me to my father's Rotary Club meeting in March was struck by The Four Way Test. We talk about it with our kids and integrate it into our lives on Newark-Granville Road.  Although the Granville Leithausers know "life isn't always fair" they know things work out and we think before we act and consider bascially these same ideas.

Today Justice Kennedy related her first interaction with this same important instrument for the international service organization and talked about how it relates to our country's rich heritage and alignment to our forefather's plan for our government. Rotary Four Way Test of the things we think, say or do:

1. Is it the TRUTH?
2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
