book club night....gets better and better...doesn't disappoint!

I'm tired so this won't be a long post but I have to give credit where credit is due!  I'm part of an amazing book club. We've been doing this for a number of years and have a great process. Tonight we kept the tradition going and it worked. What a wonderful group of female friends gathered in our dining room and kitchen.  We all shared books we'd recommend for the list/for others to read and then we shared our thoughts about what should be on the list.  In no time flat...while I was walking the dog....the books were plugged in to the appropriate months and we have a list!  Read a long with us, join our discussion, email/call me...the extrovert in me loves to process with discussion- it makes a read all the more enjoyable! Our books this year will take us to North Korea, Hawaii, Alaska, New York, Afghanistan, small towns, big cities, fantasy, historic fiction, into the memoirs of a small town book store.....I can't wait! Life on Newark-Granville  Road is rich with literature thanks to these wonderful book club friends! And by the way this group knows how to cook and share food- so many yummies- great to break bread and enjoy one another's company and refreshments!
